Before you connect.
What is Evidence?
A catalog and query proxy for public and licensed data, served to AI agents over MCP. Brazilian public data comes first: Base dos Dados, IBGE, DATASUS and INEP.
How does my agent connect?
Create an API key, then add the Evidence MCP server to your client with the key as a bearer token. Any MCP client works.
What can it query?
SQL runs at the sources that speak it, such as BigQuery and Postgres. Files and APIs are fetch-only: the agent gets the link or request it needs and processes the data itself.
How is spend kept in check?
Queries are estimated before they run, and per-call, per-session and monthly caps stop a query that would go over. The dashboard shows spend by day, tool, key and member.
What gets logged?
Each tool call is recorded with its tool, latency, outcome and cost, so you can review it under Requests and Usage. Raw request text is scrubbed after the retention window.
